  NEWS:

New Tradition is the debut album of Alexis Tyrel also known as Gideon. His album is full of big and small anthem tracks which are highly melodic and full of original sounds and yet great for a broad variety of dancefloors. Every track has been produced as if it was a single in its genre, so do not expect any lose ends. With this 40th release on the Lessismore label Alexis Tyrel gives another interpretation of what less is more is, as the label has displayed in it's releases so far. New Tradition can therefore be seen as the starting point of a new direction already announced by Lessismore. This album is a melodic roller coaster taking you all over the place with deep and housy grooves, tribally beats, chordish minimalistic detroit, funky techno, deep progressive and lovely melodies. The arrangements are classic and give a timeless feel to this unique debut album

The album will be released with remixes by Gui Boratto, Heiko Laux, Estroe, Gideon, Ferreck Dawn and MBC.

The Debate is OVER, Vinyl is Dead!

Technics pulls the Plug on the 1200 Turntable
Sure there are record labels and promoter out there still shoveling vinyl. And yes there are thousands possibly millions of people who prefer it to any other format. However everyone who wanted a top of the line turntable must have already bought one. As of November 2010 Panasonic, manufacturer of the famous MK2 model (launched in 1979), ceased production of of the Technics 1200- THE industry standard for turntablism. If you have one of these baby's- treat it with the care and respect it deserves. It has served our community well.

Nightclub Fires KILL! How Can You Stay Safe?
Are the nightclubs you visit over legal capacity? Are there enough fire exits? In light of several nightclub fires over the last year where countless patrons died, we thought it might be a good idea to give you some pointers on how to stay safe. When visiting a popular nightclub, keep these things in mind:

Always locate fire exits, and alternate escape routes upon arrival
The way you enter a club is not necessarily the closest way out in an emergency
All exits MUST be clearly marked, well lit and UNLOCKED.
If you see chains on the doors, report this immediately, and leave the club.
Have a meeting place outside should you become separated from your
friends
Don't become so intoxicated that your judgment is impaired
If a club becomes overcrowded, simply leave.

These are just some simple basic thoughts that you should be aware of while visiting nightclubs. There are many other things you can do to keep yourself safe, and laws differ from state to state and country to country. Above everything, use your head. You have it for a reason! If a situation doesn't seem safe, then remove yourself from it before you find yourself in trouble! Happy and safe clubbing.
