With a three minute long trance intro that builds then releases into the first verse, Melanie C's "I Turn To You" (Hex Hector Vocal Remix) (10:22) is club ready and structured for DJ consumption as remixed by Hex Hector. The vocals are simple yet fit the song and track well. There's no belting here, just the memorable melody and the hook, sound great together. One of the most outstanding aspects about this track is the use of seemingly real strings throughout it. They provide a dark and almost gothic groove that will set this track apart from the rest. The balance of the instrumentation is simple, trancey with synth stabs and wonderful arppegio's. The sounds employed are classic Hex. Although not an earth shattering track, it merits a spin.
