Sisters in Philadelphia is the only well-known Lesbian bar in Center City. Situated in the center of Philly’s gay district, Sisters offers both men and women a casual, friendly dance experience.

An Art Deco motif dominates the main level, making it quite charming. Friday nights offer live entertainment. Located on the upper floor, the dance area is cold and could use some "sprucing up"; however, what you get at Sisters is
good music. Catering to both house and techno, the music mix is lively and the crowd appreciative. Weekends will find you paying a door charge of $8. Not really worth the money if what you want is dance; other clubs in the area offer more for the same money.
