Located directly on the intracoastal waterway in Fort Lauderdale, this club offers a great deal to the Dance Music Industry. First and foremost is the sheer quantity and quality of performers that have streaming through their club. In the past few months Charlotte, Kristine W, Funky Green Dogs, Martha Wash, Deborah Cox, and Cyndi Lauper have all graced their stage. My main complaint here is the quality of the performance space. A small raised platform is literally jammed into the end of the narrow dance floor. The performers have to enter from outside and up a few steep stairs. People exiting the dance floor have to turn sideways to slip past the stage. The microphones are kinda lousy too. But all of that aside- I commend these club owners in supporting our dance divas that are out there pounding the pavement! Several bars flank the main dance room. There are also plenty of quite areas to steal away to; including a sun deck on the waterway itself! Great place for a T-Dance!
